In the summer of 2010, the muralists worked with a team of volunteers to extend the murals into the interior of the building. Since we had to close the stairwell, we worked while the building was closed, from 9 pm to 6 am , to finish the painting each morning before the doors opened again. As the mural now winds up to the second floor, the Guatemalan Weaver below creates the fabrics that rise from her loom. extending the fabric patterns and adding more women's names.
